1 of 2 - Have you read the policy wording to see what you’re covered for?

Your policy wording would have been sent with your purchase confirmation via Email or Post. Copies of policy wordings are also available from the insurance provider’s website. Personal possessions coverage could include scenarios such as;

  • Your checked-in baggage is delayed by a time specified in your policy wording
  • Your valuables or other possessions are lost, stolen or accidently damaged
  • If cash or event tickets are lost or stolen
  • If you need emergency travel documents



2 of 2 - Have you obtained a local independent written report of the loss, theft or delay?

For the loss or theft of personal money or travel documents, this must be a police report. For baggage delays written confirmation from your transport provider is needed including the date and time the baggage was returned, if at all.
